Dynamic context
With dynamic context it is possible to enable interactive filtering to reports beyond date range.
The prerequisite for this feature is that dynamic dimension are enabled for your site.
To enable dynamic context for the report click on the DYNAMIC CONTEXT button in the report header and enable desired dimensions. The filter buttons appear at the top of the report.
Once the dimensions are enabled it is possible to reference them in report filters by taking advantage of in context and dimension filter operators.
In context operator passes multiple selection from the picker to the report as list of values.
Dimension operator passes single selection from the picker to the report with the difference that the system automatically expands the list based on the dimension hierarchy. Using this feature it is possible to make sure that selecting single item always includes relevant items.
