The "Matrix Report" is a pivot table that summarises the stock quantities of different product variants across various locations for the selected period.  It gives a breakdown of the total amount of stock that is available for each product and its variants in each location. A good example is if the product has more than one option/variant for example; a wrist watch that comes in silver and gold colours or a pair of shoes that comes in more than one size.
